As an Advisor, John helps support the lead advisor in many areas. He is responsible for evaluating families' current financial positions, understanding clients’ goals, developing financial plans, and financial research among other things. His favorite part of being in the financial planning industry is helping families secure their financial goals and relieving the stress that finances can put on a family.
Prior to joining CovingtonAlsina, John attended Towson University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in financial planning. John holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, along with his life and health insurance license. John currently serves as the Treasurer on the board of directors for The Summit School, a school for children with learning differences. He enjoys teaching financial literacy classes to children of all ages.
John grew up with 5 brothers and sisters and loves spending time with his family and friends outside of work. Some of his hobbies include working out, boating, and fishing.
